‘Making’ can mean many things in this industry; here, we mean creative leadership for new and existing performances. This could mean directing or choreographing for dance, plays, contemporary and devised performance, performance art...anything you can think of, really. 8 participants will be selected to learn the craft of creative leadership from Joe Paradise Lui, and whilst learning the fundamentals of stagecraft and collaboration, you will put together a practice application for a new project of your own creation. These applications will be sent to Jamie Lewis, CEO of Next Wave, and at the end of the workshops you’ll receive individual project planning advice to help you bring your project to life later down the track.
