You’re invited to a night of supportive celebration and creative exploration.
To The Front is a new skills-development program delivered by Static Drive Co. Across streams in Performance, Playwriting and Making, 26 Culturally and Linguistically Diverse and First Nations emerging artists have accessed workshops, masterclasses and performances since March this year. This night is a chance for them to get onstage and flex their creative muscles in a low-stakes, supportive environment of family, friends and peers.
The evening will include some monologues, some script readings, and some brand-new short-works created collaboratively over the week leading up to the event. Hang around after the performance for some non-alcoholic refreshments and nibbles, as we bring this pilot program to a close for 2021.
To The Front is made possible through support of the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, The Blue Room Theatre, Perth Theatre Trust, Roots TV, and Community Arts Network WA.
