If you’re a fan of the written word, this might be the workshop for you. 8 participants will be selected to learn the process of playwriting, specifically for live performance.
You will work with workshop leaders Barb Hostalek and Vidya Rajan to learn the fundamentals of writing for performance, and work on a short piece of your own (up to 10 minutes). You can write in any language you choose! There are additional funds to go towards dictionaries, play texts in Language, time with language experts or community members, or anything you may need. Some previous writing experience is desired; this experience could be in poetry, prose, film, comedy, or other.
